Sadly this was not a day to enjoy the views and watch the sunrise. Instead there were moderate winds (considerably less strong than forecast) and thick mist, making it more of a challenge walk for our sun risers.

Despite the weather and the fact we weren’t going to experience a sunrise the group did it, they reached the summit with huge smiles on their faces providing it’s all in the attitude!

A gentle ascent via the Llanberis path and a descent of the Pyg and Miners tracks to Pen y Pass where the Sherpa bus was waiting. All in all a rewarding day for all involved.
