We did a sunrise hike up Yr Wyddfa with Dan, and it was absolutely worth it.
Dan was brilliant from start to finish - knowledgeable, calm, easy to be around and clearly someone who genuinely loves being in the mountains. It never felt like just a guided walk. before long we were joking and laughing like old friends.

Great experience for my first mountain experience and a night hike to the summit of Snowdon. Dan made the trip really enjoyable, his guidance, advice and knowledge of the area taught me a lot, he let us be involved with decisions about which paths to take down and how we wanted to use our time, which felt like he really respected what the experience meant to us. This Beginners Navigation Skills Course was perfect start for me and for anyone wishing to gain knowledge and confidence in hiking. Dan was superb throughout, fantastic knowledge, patient, encouraging and put me at ease throughout. So much information which was brilliant. I would highly recommend this course. I had the pleasure of booking a guided hike and meeting Dan and the team on a sunrise hike up snowdon in Sept 2024. I was nervous about attempting this in the dark alone so booked on.  The organisation and attention to detail to keep all of the group safe and having a good time was excellent. The weather closed in at the top so we didn't see anything but had an absolutely brilliant time.  Dan was really sensitive to my needs (reoccurring knee injury) and took all the necessary steps to make sure everything was right before and during the walk. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Booked a sunrise hike up Snowdon. Dan was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, encouraging and made the journey feel safe and enjoyable from the start despite the strong winds, rain and fog. Communication before the hike was good with a kit list & contact details being provided - this proved important given the weather. We had such a great trip with Dan on the sunrise on Snowdon trip in September 24.

I did the snowdon sunrise hike and the NNAS bronze navigation award with Dan from seven hills.
