Jebel Toubkal, High Atlas 2025

Our adventure starts in Marrakesh, a city which is all about the friendly people, architecture and culture with just a tiny bit of chaos thrown in. 

It’s a city where the Medina’s streets are lined by vendors in tiny shops selling fruit and vegetables, clothing, souvenirs, leather goods and street food interspersed by mechanics, ironmongery, butchers, building merchants and tailors. 

Tomorrow we head to the CAF Hut (French Alpine Club) at 3200m where we’ll spend the night cheek by jowl with other folk who’ve set their sights on Toubkal’s snowy summit at 4167m, the highest in North Africa.
