A tad windy on the Yorkshire Three Peaks

Hold onto your hats folks.

Today was all about taking advantage of the “mostly” dry conditions and trying not to get blown off our feet.  Lovely day guiding Izzy on her first Yorkshire Three Peaks.  Kudos to her as well, whilst Storm Kathleen had blown through the winds were still gusting in the 40mph range which made for a pretty tough day. By the time we reached the flanks of Whernside the temperatures had dropped and heavy showers set in.  She was determined and completed in sub 12 hours, thanks for a great day Izzy!
